A sterling silver pin usually costs about $15-20 , with 14 karat gold plating, costs rise to $17-23 , and a 10 karat gold pin costs approximately $40 , depending on the overall size of the pin. Optional diamonds can be set in all precious metal pins from $15 and up per diamond, and rubies, sapphires or emeralds are available from $8 and up. Minimum quantity for sterling silver pins is 6 pieces, and for karat gold, only one piece.
